"Let's Get Loopy"

An Anti-Bullying School Assembly That Promotes Kindness & Positive Attitudes

This Amazing School Assembly on Bullying Helps Kids Understand Bullying & Take Action

Bullying in schools is a big deal. Children who are bullied suffer from anxiety, depression, low test scores, and much more. Fortunately, there are some simple strategies we can teach our kids to help them make their school a more positive environment.

I’m Kentucky-based school assembly presenter Miss September. My fun-filled assembly program “Let’s Get Loopy” is designed to help your students understand bullying.

But it goes beyond just bullying. This show encourages students to let everyone into their loop. It’s my way of encouraging inclusion. And there is yet another benefit to this show.

Would you like your students to have BETTER TEST SCORES?

How about a more positive experience with their school involvement, mental health, and an all-around more positive attitude?

This is what this show will do for your school and students!

But don’t take my word for it. Here is what a recent school client said:

"Today we enjoyed a great visit by September Cardiff! She is a local author and children’s show presenter who taught us about being a good friend! With the help of fun puppets , songs, and magic tricks, we learned that we can’t take back the hurtful words we say and we should always be looking for those around us that need a friend. It was a fun day!" - Sandersville Elementary School-KY

So how do I do it? How does this program do so much? I break the assembly down into five main goals. My program helps kids to better understand bullying by:

  1. Encourage kids to speak to a trusted adult if they are bullied or see others being bullied.

  2. Teaching kids how to stand up to kids who bully.

  3. Coming up with strategies for staying safe, such as staying near adults or in groups.

  4. Urging them to help kids who are bullied by showing kindness or getting help

  5. Encourage kids to take part in activities, interests, and hobbies they like

Does This School Show Just Lecture Kids?

IMG_0879.jpg

Nope!

School assembly presenters who just lecture kids are doomed to fail. When you have 200-300 kids in one room, you’ve got to engage the kids and captivate them. Otherwise, they start talking to each other, ignoring the show entirely.

So I’ve made this show FUN. Yes, it’s a serious topic. But I approach it with humor, magic, and audience interaction. Here are just a few highlights:

  • Love-A-Bull is the main character of the show. He’s a cute puppet that helps teach kids the value of inclusion. Love-A-Bull leads us off with an AMAZING story and a routine that will touch the hearts of everyone that will not only have the kids falling in love with him, but knowing how important it is to love others.

  • Songs – Yup, songs! I write and produce the songs your kids hear during the show. And your school gets access to these songs after the show!

  • Sparkles – One of your teachers is transformed into a cowgirl who shares the importance of being a shining sparkling diamond!

  • Magic, Costumes, & Join-In Fun – Magic routines demonstrate more anti-bullying lessons and help illustrate the lessons

As you can see, my anti-bullying assembly is more of a variety show than other programs. And that variety is what captivates your students! This assembly is perfect for PreK-5th grade.
