"Be a CAREcrow, Not a SCAREcrow"
“Book the Perfect School Assembly
for Reading, Fall, & More!”
Your Students Will Discover How to Care for Others During This Fun-Filled Assembly Program
Are your students scarecrows…or CAREcrows? Fall-themed or any seasonal-themed school assemblies usually don’t have much educational content. But the start of the fall season and especially Halloween are perfect reasons to promote reading or good character!

Give your students the gift of a fun-filled assembly program and give them some important lessons to think about with my “Be a CAREcrow Not a SCAREcrow” school assembly. It’s filled with kid-friendly fun, guaranteed to hold the attention.
All of my programs get race reviews, too. Here is what one recent client said:
"What a fun library performance by September Cardiff teaching our students about Earth Day and the importance of reducing, reusing, and recycling! Thank you for the wonderful, interactive, and fun experience! The kids loved it, and will help them make a difference in the world!" - Salem Elementary School - Virginia
“Wait a minute,” I can hear you ask. “What in the world do you cover in a show themed around the fall season?”
Glad you asked…
What Your Students Will See & Experience During the “Be a CAREcrow Not a SCAREcrow” Assembly…
The fall season is perfect for unusual costumes, silly fun, and life-changing lessons. Here are just a few highlights:

-
I dress up as a scarecrow while sharing many things about the fall season
-
Kids meet the one and only ‘CAREcrow” as she shares the story of learning how to care for others
-
Growing pumpkins
-
Appearing straws
-
An obnoxious appearing squirrel
-
And MUCH more!
Like all of my shows, the “Be a CAREcrow Not a SCAREcrow” assembly program uses a LOT of techniques to guarantee your students are riveted from the start of the show to the end.
This Fall Show… Doubles as a Reading School Assembly?
Yup, I’ve designed this fun show to also serve as a reading-themed assembly program! This version, called “Fall Into a Good Book,” highlights important reading messages. Using a variety of fun presentational hooks (see below), I’ll present inspirational and motivational messages about reading.

Best of all, I’ll encourage your students to check out books from your school’s library after the show. Perfect for PARP, Read Across America, or any school-wide reading incentive.
5 Presentational ‘Tools’ I Use to Hold Kids’ Attention
The worst school assembly or library performers are the ones who think they can just crack open a book and read to the kids. That won’t cut it. I know every time I perform a show, I have to do a lot to make sure the kids pay attention.

I’ve added a lot to the “Be a CAREcrow Not a SCAREcrow” show to maintain interest in any group of kids, large or small. Check these out:

-
Amazing Magic – Trust me, kids will love the magic in this show! It’s kid-friendly, visual, and easy to understand.
-
Interactive Fun – I get your students involved in the show early and often. Seeing their friends on stage is highly effective at holding the attention of the entire audience. Plus it’s just plain fun to get kids in on the action!
3. Original Songs – Did you know that I’m a songwriter and singer? During this show, I sing, get your students to sing, and keep them engaged and involved.
4. Puppets – Children love seeing puppets, especially the ones that cause trouble for the performer. Puppets provide opportunities for more conflict, humor, storytelling, and much more. Plus they’re cute!
5. Costumes & Color – “Be a CAREcrow Not a SCAREcrow” is filled with colorful-eye-catching costumes, props, and stage decorations. Even the youngest kids will enjoy looking at all the fun things I bring to the show.

The bottom line? I know how to hold kids’ attention. I do it with a lot of variety and kid-friendly fun. Your students will love this show. Your faculty will love this show. So will you.
