Summer Reading Programs that Will Pack Your Library with Excited Readers
Magic, Puppets, Music & More Guaranteed to Thrill Young Readers
Are you looking for new and exciting ways to draw children and families into your library? Each year, libraries across the country promote Summer Reading Program. It’s a fun time of year when libraries get to put ‘their best foot forward’ to bring more patrons through their doors.

The best library programs in Kentucky don’t just highlight each year’s theme. The best entertain and amaze young visitors along the way.
I’m Miss September and with my hilarious puppet friends, I visit dozens of libraries each summer. I’ve created a unique themed program for Summer Reading Program my clients rave about:

Pretty cool, huh? And there’s a LOT more where that comes from. Libraries bring me back year after year because of the quality of my programs.
I guarantee you’ll love this year’s program too.
My Brand-New 2025 Summer Reading Program Magic & Puppet Show
This year’s show is fun, exciting, and interactive. Check out these details:

Join Miss September and friends in "A Canvas of Colors: A Rainbow of Feelings," an enchanting and interactive show! This delightful performance uses magic, puppetry, and catchy music to help Pedro the Parrot understand and express his feelings, especially when jealousy takes hold. With the help of Sparkles, Pedro embarks on a colorful journey to explore how emotions connect to the colors of the rainbow.

Designed to help children and adults recognize and express their emotions positively, the show features engaging puppetry and memorable songs. As characters guide Pedro in expressing himself, he learns to transform his jealousy into creativity, creating a vibrant piece of art that reflects all his feelings.

By the end of the show, Pedro discovers that emotions are natural, and it’s okay to experience ups and downs just like a rainbow, finding comfort in knowing he’s not alone on this colorful journey through life. Trust me, your young patrons will love this show. To hold their attention from beginning to end, there is a LOT going on…
5 Reasons Why My Summer Reading Programs Are So Awesome
I know that might sound kinda ‘braggy,’ but kids and families do love my shows. The reason? There is so much happening!

Magic: Each show I create for Libraries in Kentucky is filled with colorful, fun magic children and families love. And it’s good magic, too – effects that confound and amaze audiences of all sizes and ages.
Puppets: Everyone loves puppets! My characters are fun, with broad personalities and hilarious antics. Adding puppets to my shows allows for more characters, conflict, and better storytelling.
Singing: Yes, singing! I write and sing my own songs. Each song I create is designed to fit into a specific show. With my catchy tunes, you’ll see your kids singing and clapping along!
Storytelling: If you want people to pay attention, you gotta draw them in. That’s what I do with every show I create. My shows are more than magic or puppet shows. They are carefully crafted stories brought to life!
Join-In Fun: Kids don’t want to just sit and watch. They can do that at home with TV. Or anywhere with their phones or tablets. Instead, I get them in on the action. They’ll love interacting with my puppet characters and helping out with the magic.
